Black Isle FEAST 2025

1st - 7th September

Black Isle Feast – A Celebration of Local Flavour

1st – 7th September 2025

This September, the Black Isle is setting the table for something truly special. From Monday 1st to Sunday 7th September 2025, local cafés, bakeries, and eateries will be serving up their own dishes for a Black Isle Menu. Inspired by, and made with, the incredible produce grown, reared, and crafted right here on our doorstep.

It’s all part of the Black Isle Feast, a week-long celebration of our amazing food producers and the talented businesses who bring their ingredients to life. From farm to fork, it’s about flavour, freshness, and supporting the community we love.

Expect to see mouthwatering specials such as:

  • Black Isle sirloin steak at The Anderson in Fortrose
  • Black Isle Tapas at The Fishertown Inn in Cromarty
  • Black Isle Quiche and Salads at Black Isle Berries near Tore……..And that’s just for starters – there will be plenty more to discover!

Why it matters

The Black Isle Feast is about more than delicious food. It’s a celebration of the rich agricultural heritage and creativity of the area. And it’s a boost for our local economy too. When you dine at these businesses during Feast week, you’re not only treating yourself to outstanding flavours, you’re helping both the producers and the restaurants thrive.

How you can support the Black Isle FEAST?

It’s simple: go along to any of these eateries in the first week of September, ask for their Black Isle Menu dish, and celebrate our amazing, local produce! Share your experience with friends and family, and encourage them to do the same. Every plate you order supports a stronger, more resilient local food network. You can always share your experiences online using #HighlandFEAST too.

Let’s make the first week of September a true feast for the Black Isle, and we look forward to seeing you at the table!
