Local Producers Food and Drink Trail

We’re excited to share the online version of our Local Producers Food & Drink Trail map for Inverness and Loch Ness; developed in collaboration with Visit Inverness Loch Ness and our incredible network of local producers.

We’re passionate about making local, sustainable food more visible and accessible. This map highlights food and drink producers in and around Inverness, encouraging both residents and visitors to discover what’s grown, made, and crafted right here in the Highlands.

Whether you’re planning a day out or looking to support your local food economy, this is a great place to start. Explore the trail and connect with the people behind the produce!

Please note that some of our producers’ sites aren’t open to visitors, but you can still enjoy their products – check the directory to see where and how to buy from them!

“Why I Buy Local…” short films series

We’re shining a light on the incredible businesses across the Inverness area who are championing local produce in their menus and offerings. Sharing stories that we hope will inspire others to look a little closer to home when thinking about suppliers. From local honey to wild venison, we want to celebrate it all!
