We bring people together to build a fairer, more resilient food system in the Highlands. We campaign on important issues, amplify sustainable practice, empower communities and champion local producers. From ground-level projects to national policy consultations, we collaborate at every level to transform Highland food culture.
What do we do?
Below are the specific projects we are working on:
Good Food Nation
The Highland Good Food Partnership coordinated consultation events that fed into the Good Food National Plan in 2024.
We are now helping to enact the plan in partnership with Highland Council and NHS Highland. To find out more, go here. We regularly engage with and respond to relevant Scottish Government consultations and are members of the Scottish Food Coalition.
Farmer Cluster Connections
We support local farmer clusters, and are looking at developing a regenerative agriculture network for the Highlands.

Regional Food Group
We are the Regional Food Group for the Highlands, which means we work with food businesses to produce a sustainable food economy for all. Find out more here.
The Highland Good Food Podcast
We produce the Highland Good Food Podcast, the showcase amazing work going on in the Highlands, and to highlight the latest issues and solutions to building a better food system. Listen to the podcast on any platform, or here.
Highland Good Food Map
We created, and manage the Highland Good Food Map, which has everything on it; from local food producers to good food eateries. Visit the map here.
If you would like to appear on the map, become a member and complete the map form here.
